I've figured out when the Icon Browser bug happens. If you drag a file onto the application's icon (like I usually do) then the selected icon shows up OK in the editor window. But if you use the standard open file dialog, then it doesn't work. Not too sure why, but I have a couple of tests tomorrow, so I can't do much work today.
